Veterinary Receptionist (Experienced Only)
Tuscawilla Oaks Animal Hospital – Oviedo, FL
Full-Time | 35–40 hours/week
We’re a busy, fast-paced veterinary practice looking for a rockstar receptionist (CSR) who knows the ropes and can keep up. If you’ve worked the front desk in a veterinary clinic before, you already know it’s not just answering phones and smiling at puppies. It’s juggling phone calls, checking in patients, fielding questions, updating records, taking payments, and doing it all at the same time (without breaking a sweat).
We’ve had a string of hires recently who just couldn’t retain what the role demands. So, we’re putting it plainly: this is not an entry-level position.
What We’re Looking For:
Veterinary front desk experience is required
Avimark experience is a big plus
You’re a quick learner who stays sharp and asks questions when something doesn’t click
You’re not rattled by high call volume
You pay attention to details and don’t let things fall through the cracks
You can actually multitask, not just say you can on your resume
You’re warm, professional, and genuinely enjoy helping people and their pets
The Day-to-Day Includes:
Managing a busy phone system (scheduling, prescription requests, general inquiries)
Checking patients in and out with accuracy and efficiency
Processing payments
Keeping medical records accurate and up to date
Collaborating with technicians, doctors, and the rest of our team to keep the day running smoothly
