Georgetown Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary Client Care Representative (CCR) to join our front desk team. Our CCRs play a critically important role and are an essential team player providing excellent customer service to our clients and their pets.
Ideal candidates interested in joining our team should be friendly, outgoing, and have exceptional customer service skills. They also need to be professional, responsible, empathetic, and be computer savvy.
Qualifications:
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, and a Multi-Tasker with attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new management software.
Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor.
Be reliable, dependable, and flexible.
Previous experience in a front desk role within a veterinary clinic or similar environment is required.
This part-time position includes but is not limited to:
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.
Scheduling appointments with understanding: basic routine vaccinations, diseases/illnesses affecting dogs and cats, surgery protocols, plus laboratory tests.
Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
Proper communication skills with clients, staff, and veterinarians.
Taking prescription refill requests.
Needs to understand veterinary terminology.
Filing.
The schedule will be part time with an early evening and a rotating half-day Saturday morning. We provide a friendly work environment with an emphasis on a work-home balance.
