Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
Interact compassionately with clients during emotional or stressful situations
Communicate professionally with distressed or frustrated clients
Answer and triage phone calls efficiently
Schedule all appointments and surgeries
Check in clients and escort them to exam rooms
Monitor daily schedule and ensure smooth clinic flow
Handle record requests and communication with other veterinary hospitals
Fill prescriptions accurately and assist with medication-related tasks
Discharge patients and process payments
Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records
Communicate clearly between clients and veterinarians
Educate clients on general pet care and wellness
Assist with patient care such as feeding, walking, and administering medications as directed
Clean and disinfect animal cages, exam rooms, and treatment areas
Maintain cleanliness in shared areas, including reception, lobby, bathrooms, laundry, and kennels
Assist with patient restraint for procedures and sample collection

Previous experience in animal care is a plus, but not required
