Veterinary Receptionist Jobs in Perkins, OK at Perkins Veterinary Clinic
Position is part-time.
Staff start at 7am Monday-Saturday. We close at 6pm Monday-Friday and 12pm on Saturday. Shifts are typically 5-6 hours.
Position requires kennel work – daily, weekend, and holiday. Must work at least 2 weekends a month and 2 holidays (out of our 4) a year.
Weekends require 7am-12pm shift, plus multiple visits to the hospital for kennel work. Our holidays are New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day; we operate regular business hours for any other holiday.
Looking for someone that can start immediately.
Assistants are responsible for animal restraint; obtaining patient history; helping to obtain samples – blood, feces, and urine; running tests – fecal exam, heartworm, felv/fiv, blood work; prepping vaccines, helping to fill prescriptions, walking dogs, cleaning hospital – gathering trash, sweeping, mopping, prepping rooms, cleaning surgical suite and instruments; assisting veterinarian in all aspects of the job, etc.
