We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. The Veterinary Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth workflow, maintaining client relations, and supporting our veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care to animals.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pet care, and clinic policies.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations as needed.
Provide information on pet care, grooming services, and preventive health measures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Handle any client concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Experience
Knowledge of animal anatomy is essential for effective communication with clients regarding their pets’ health.
Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
A passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are crucial for success in this role.
