Job Overview:
Granite Mountain Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and their pets. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a busy front of the hospital. Making sure the staff know what patients are here while simultaneously answering phones, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about animal care and customer service.
Responsibilities:
– Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and+ professional manner
– Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
– Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients
– Collect and update client information in the database
– Assist with filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks
– Provide support to veterinary staff as needed
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
– Familiarity with medical collections and insurance processes
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
Skills:
– Veterinary knowledge
– Pet care techniques
– Understanding of veterinary procedures
– Familiarity with veterinary terminology
– Experience with medical collection processes such as fecal’s and urines
