Veterinary Receptionist
Duties:
– Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
– Collect and update patient information, including medical history and other relevant details
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and exam rooms
– Process payments and handle financial transactions including End of Day counts
– Provide basic information on bathing and dog boarding services offered by the clinic
Skills:
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
– Strong communication, both verbal and written
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and accuracy in handling client information
– Basic knowledge of computers; previous knowledge of Cornerstone Systems is a plus, but not required
– Ability to handle stressful situations with maturity, grace, and emotional intelligence
