Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented veterinary receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be our client’s first point of contact, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Handle incoming emails and messages promptly.
Assist with inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary technology or related field education is a plus.
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer-focused attitude.
Proficient in using computer systems; experience with veterinary software (AviMark) is an advantage.
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
