We have an exciting new opportunity at Croft Vet Centre for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to come onboard and join our team.
The part you’ll play at croft
We provide comprehensive pet care services and are seeking a bright and bubbly Veterinary Receptionist to expand our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of call for our clients, providing support and compassion.
Duties
Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar, including future appointments.
Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients.
Collect and update client information in the database.
Medication handling Admin including scanning and organising paperwork.
Processing payments & debt management.
Cleaning.
About You
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member, who shows a real passion and positive attitude in every duty they perform. Candidates must have at least 1 year reception experience, and ideally at least 1 year of veterinary reception experience. This is because being a receptionist in the veterinary industry is very fast paced. This candidate needs to be highly self-motivated and have good customer service skills.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with animals and their owners.
Able to work well within a team and independently.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Rota
The role involves working up to 30 hours per week including a Saturday rota. There may be potential for extra hours to cover holidays and sickness. This is a permanent position.
