Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for animal care, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced veterinary setting.
Duties
Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and check them in for appointments.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
Process payments
Provide support in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception and other areas of the clinic
Educate clients on proper pet care, including grooming, training, and health maintenance.
Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
Previous veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
