Our doctors and staff are experienced and compassionate people with a passion for caring for animals. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and professional to join our team as a Veterinary Receptionist. While someone with experience in the veterinary field would be preferred, we are very open to providing training and education to the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:
Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
Providing customer service such as greeting customers, answering basic pet care questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
Answering phone calls which may include answering basic pet care questions, scheduling appointments, and recording messages for doctors and team
Handling incoming and outgoing mail and email
Updating and file patient charts
Entering data into computerized billing program (Avimark)
Retrieving prescriptions
Assisting with pet supply purchases
Maintaining the cleanliness of waiting room and reception area
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long period
Skills / Qualifications:
High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
Customer service experience
Organizational skills
Tech savvy
Team oriented
Communication skills
Money handling
Schedule:
35-40 Hours Per Week
7:30 AM – 6:00 PM four days per week
1 hour lunch
Occasional Saturdays Required (on a rotating schedule with other team members)
