We’re looking for a friendly and competent Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist is accountable for fielding incoming calls, greeting clients and scheduling appointments. A winning receptionist will have excellent communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones, greet patients and owners, and schedule appointments.
Take payments, keep lobby area clean.
Answering emails, communicate with veterinary assistants regarding clients and the patients special instructions.
Qualifications
Previous veterinary experience and knowledge of veterinary terminology
Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques
Strong communication skills for effective client interaction
Familiarity with medical collection processes and laboratory procedures
Additional skills in dog training or grooming are a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
