The Ark Pet Hospital is looking for a veterinary receptionist to join our wonderful team. This is a part time opportunity at a privately owned small animal practice. We are a close and tight knit group looking for the perfect individual to join our family. Absolutely no phone calls will be accepted related to this job.
Core Responsibilities Include:
-Greeting clients and their pets and maintain a cheerful demeanor
-Answering phone calls in a professional manner using proper etiquette
-Communicate with clients in a verbal, written, and electronic manner
-Checking clients in and out
-Reviewing doctor notes and discharge instructions with clients
-Go over finances, estimates and invoices with clients
-Keeping exam rooms and lobby clean and organized
-Perform callbacks and reminders in a timely fashion
Requirements:
1 year experience in the veterinary industry is preferable.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds
Must be able to show compassion and empathy to clients and patients
Must be a fast learner and have the ability to retain information
Must be a reliable and dependable employee
