Hello, candidate!Thank you for your interest in the veterinary receptionist position. This is a full-time position that requires a flexible schedule and open availability to meet the staffing needs of the clinic, which includes some evenings.This role is responsible for: patient admits, case follow-up, answering phones and returning voicemails, communicating with the veterinarian regarding medical cases, coordinating discharges, communicating with clients regarding lab results, responding to client emails, scheduling appointments along with other clerical duties.While veterinary medicine experience is not necessary, it is preferred. There are several, experienced receptionists on staff that can provide training. Fast typing skills with the ability to type notes and enter data quickly during customer interactions.2. Organizational skills – Task prioritization and time management.3.
