Clovis Veterinary Hospital, an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital, is seeking an outgoing veterinary receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital.In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services and products. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment.Responsibilities:Create a warm, welcoming experience for every client and patientBuild lasting relationships with clients through exceptional communication and personalized serviceGreet clients and check patients in and out efficientlyAnswer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and respond to emails and voicemailsUtilize practice software to maintain accurate medical records, create estimates and process paymentsEducate clients on hospital services, wellness recommendations, and preventive careCommunicate effectively with doctors, technicians and the client care teamKeep the reception area clean, organized and invitingAssist with administrative tasks while ensuring a seamless client experienceQualifications:Previous customer service representative or veterinary receptionist experience preferredOutstanding communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailAbility to take direction, ability to handle money accurately and honestlySelf-motivated, dependable, and proactivePassionate about building relationships with clients and advocating for their petsAvailable to work full-time, including some SaturdaysEducation and Physical Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent requiredMust have experience working in the publicDependable attendance is requiredMust be able to lift 40 poundsThe ability to walk, bend, squat, stand or reach constantly during an 8-hour dayJob Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 – $15.00 per hourWork Location: In person
