Duties
- Greet clients warmly, handle phone inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently using veterinary management software
- Manage medical collections and billing processes accurately
- Assist with animal handling during check-in and check-out, including restraint and basic pet care instructions
- Communicate effectively with clients about pet health, surgery preparations, medication instructions, and follow-up care
- Maintain cleanliness of front desk area, organize veterinary supplies, and support administrative tasks related to veterinary clinic operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in veterinary clinics or animal hospitals with knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical-surgical procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Familiarity with veterinary software systems for scheduling, record keeping, and billing processes
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes
