Veterinary Receptionist Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Urgent Care Animal Hospital

Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
– Collect and update client information, including medical history and insurance details
– Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures and treatments
– Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
– Provide basic pet care instructions to clients, including medication administration and post-operative care
– Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care

Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
– Strong knowledge of pet care, and veterinary terminology
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
