As a comprehensive, full-service small animal clinic, we ensure you have the tools necessary to deliver exceptional patient care across the full spectrum of veterinary medicine. Our scope of work is broad and challenging, covering everything from Wellness and Prevention to Advanced Care and Surgical Procedures. We also provide critical Urgent Care services to the community, rounding out a robust diagnostic and treatment schedule, including dedicated Testing and Diagnostics capabilities. To help support busy clients and maintain workflow efficiency, we offer drop-off services, ensuring dedicated time for your complex cases. Jacksonville, Florida, often called “River City,” offers an ideal blend of city convenience and coastal living. Located in the popular Avondale/Riverside area, you will be working in a historic and vibrant community known for its local culture and beautiful scenery. Your Impact as a Receptionist


  • Be the Director of First Impressions:
    You’ll manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.

  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination:
    You’ll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.

  • Advocate for Pet Health:
    You’ll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.

  • Embody Compassion and Empathy:
    You’ll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.


What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.

  • Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
