Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Duties:
– Greet and welcome clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
– Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
– Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
– Collect and update patient information in the computer system
– Handle client inquiries and provide accurate information about services and pricing
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
– Process payments and handle financial transactions
– Assist with filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
– Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
– Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus
– Familiarity with animal handling techniques and safety protocols
– Experience with medical collections or insurance billing is beneficial
Skills:
– Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures for emergency situations
– Familiarity with veterinary terminology to effectively communicate with clients and staff
– Ability to provide exceptional pet care advice to clients based on their specific needs
