Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in the field. Must work Holidays, and Fri-Mon.
Responsibilities:
– Provide compassionate care and attention to animals under our supervision
– Assist with feeding, grooming, and exercising animals
– Monitor and report any changes in animal behavior or health
– Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal living areas. Must pay attention to detail.
– Assist with animal handling and restraint when necessary
Skills:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
– Experience in Dog and Cat Handling, and understand some Veterinary care, or related fields. Knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
– Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
– Familiarity with pet sitting or veterinary assistant duties
– Proficiency in dog and animal handling
– Must be Confident and have Strong Communication Skills to interact with pet owners and team members
– Computer Experience required
