Prairie Animal Hospital in Peoria, Illinois is looking for a full-time Practice Manager to help guide our fantastic team and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re a behavior-centered, Fear Free and Cat Friendly Certified practice that’s been serving our community for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on compassionate care, meaningful client relationships, and a genuine team atmosphere where learning and growth are part of the everyday culture.
We’re doing great things with a great group of people, but we’re missing that one key piece: you. Our ideal candidate is organized, experienced in customer-facing roles (bonus points if you’ve worked as a server or in hospitality!), and ready to lead with clarity, kindness, and integrity. You’ll be supporting a team that truly cares—about each other, our patients, and our clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment but still enjoys a little fun, flexibility, and occasional pet snuggles throughout the day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Overseeing day-to-day clinic operations and supporting an efficient workflow
Managing scheduling, inventory, and client communication systems
Coaching and developing team members through feedback and training
Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning
Supporting the medical team in delivering exceptional patient and client care

Competitive salary: $50,000–$65,000, based on experience
