Saxony Animal Clinic is located 30 minutes North of Pittsburgh in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Explore the Todd
Nature Reserve, a 334-acre nature reserve home to over 180 species of birds, miles of hiking trails, streams,

Practice Overview
Saxony Animal Clinic is a small animal practice that focuses on providing efficient and affordable care to our
clients and their pets. We believe knowledge is power, therefore we challenge and collaborate with one
another in order to provide the best solutions for our clients. Our team understands the importance of

What You’ll Be Working On
● Engaging and communicating with clients and staff
● Getting and maintaining patient information and records
● Overseeing staff and assisting if needed in surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays,
venipuncture, IV catheter placement, ultrasounds, and preparing lab specimens
● Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and animal restraints
Qualifications
● Veterinary Technician experience/ Certification preferred, but not required
● Minimum of 1 year experience as a veterinary practice manager
● Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development
● Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
● Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
High organizational skills
Experience with Quickbooks, invoice paying, hiring/recruiting/disciplinary action, maintaining of office protocols and employee handbook, employee scheduling, upkeep of business facilities
