We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Practice Manager to lead our talented team. In this vital role, you’ll oversee daily operations, support and develop a skilled and compassionate staff, and help ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality veterinary care. Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of 10+ veterinary professionals, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with the Learning & Development team to support team training and ensure exceptional client and patient care.
Collaborate with the Medical Director to align operational and clinical excellence, and optimize scheduling for veterinarians and support staff.
Oversee purchasing, facility operations, and compliance with employment laws and safety standards.
Drive business growth through creative marketing efforts and community engagement.
Develop annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve practice goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of veterinary management experience preferred.
Marketing experience in a veterinary or medical setting is a plus.
RVT or CVPM certification is a bonus, but not required.
SHRM-CP, BS, MBA, or other advanced degrees welcomed.
Proven leadership skills with an emphasis on team building, performance management, and employee engagement.
Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence in decision-making.
Ability to adapt to change and lead with empathy in a dynamic environment.
