Job Description

We’re looking for:

An efficient veterinary practice manager to oversee office administration and ensure smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate will be patient, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking, with exceptional management, organizational, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities Include

Manage all aspects of office administration, including scheduling, inventory, and staff coordination.

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise office staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

Oversee financial operations, including payroll, inventory control, and vendor relationships.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including DEA/Controlled Substances and OSHA regulations.

Handle client communications, resolve complaints, and maintain high standards of customer service.

Collaborate with veterinary staff to support efficient patient care and treatment.

Implement and maintain effective record-keeping systems for patient information and hospital operations.

Contribute to marketing efforts to promote the hospital within the local community.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred

knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital

Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator

Highly organized and possess computer skills

Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
