We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Vet Nurse to join the OOH team at a small animal veterinary hospital in the Taunton area of Somerset
Role
- part time hours working every Wednesday 19.00 – 23.30 and Friday 19.00 – 23.30 and 1 in 2 weekends (Saturdays 16.00-23.30 and Sundays 16.00-23.30) an average of 19.75 hrs a week.
- practice is an RCVS-accredited purpose-built and well equipped hospital with up to date equipment and technologies.
- you will join the OOH team working alongside a night RVN who will be looking after the inpatients and preparing for OOH surgeries, and an on-site night veterinary surgeon.
- your role will be interesting and varied, supporting the night team, managing telephone calls, arranging appointments, triaging patients, inpatient care and consults etc.

- based in the beautiful area of Somerset close to the coast and surrounded by stunning countryside.
Requirements
- Qualified Vet Nurse
- Registered with RCVS
Salary Package
- Salary to £35,000.00 per annum FTE to reflect your experience
- CPD fully funded, paid holidays, health care scheme, paid RCVS and VDS fees, pension scheme, discounts etc
