We are looking for a friendly, motivated, professional individual who works well with fellow team members and clients in a fast-paced environment. Oglethorpe Animal Clinic is a busy veterinarian clinic in Crawford, GA, located just outside of Athens, GA (a 15-minute drive from the University of Georgia). We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant that would be willing to cross train as receptionist to join our team.
Starting date is immediate. 40 hours per week, to include rotating weekend work.
Our ideal candidate needs to be experienced in many areas of the veterinary technician field such as monitoring animals under anesthesia, post-operative patient care, placing catheters, animal restraint, radiology, medication administration, and blood sample collection.
Education and Experience:
2+ year’s previous experience is desired
Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
