Cross Keys Animal Hospital is looking for energetic, pet loving people to join our kennel team!
WHO WE ARE
Cross Keys Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor, privately owned small animal practice located in Williamstown. A staple in the community since 2001, we strive to provide quality medicine with excellent customer service. Our services include wellness, sick visits, dentistry and surgery. We primarily offer care for dogs and cats but also provide care for small pocket pets including guinea pigs, rabbits, and ferrets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Kennel assistant work with the veterinary medical team to provide and prepare for the best medical care of pets
Prepare the treatment room for examination of pets and all necessary medical items and supplies for the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician
Ensure cleanliness of the hospital including but not limited to housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, mopping, cage cleaning, and trash collection.
Other job duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Some experience with animals preferred but not mandatory.
This is not a seasonal position, we are looking for a hard working long term employee interested in a career in veterinary medicine.
Must be able to keep up in fast paced, laborious work environment and have a passion for animals
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Detail oriented, punctual, and reliable
