Broadway Cat Hospital is a full-service feline hospital. We pride ourselves in treating the special needs of cats and their people with tender loving care. We are a small hospital, so every position is very important, and every team member is cherished. You will not be lost in the rush of a large animal hospital.
We are searching for a part-time kennel assistant. Our ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing personality. They would be a self-starter that can work without supervision. The position is just for cats! It entails cleaning litterboxes, giving medication, feeding, watering, general cleaning, and giving cats LOVE!
Schedule: This is a Wednesday, Friday night and weekend position. The kennels would be attended at 5 pm Wednesday and Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and possible Monday holidays. Then the morning shift is at 8 am on Saturday, Sunday and possible Monday holidays. The hours can be shared with other kennel assistants on staff. This creates flexibility in the scheduling. Shift length with change with the amount of boarders it could be from 15 min to 2 hours/shift. If it looks to be a shorter shift and you need more hours we always have extra general cleaning!
Compensation: $14-15.5/hr. pay will be based on experience.
