We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the well-being and care of animals under our supervision. This role involves providing essential support in maintaining a safe and clean environment for the animals.
Duties
– Perform daily feeding and watering of animals
– Clean and sanitize animal enclosures and the clinic as a whole
– Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
– Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
– Maintain accurate records of animal health and behavior
Skills
– MUST HAVE A LOVE FOR DOGS. Daycare consists of a lot of interacting and playing with multiple dogs at the same time.
– Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
– Familiarity with veterinary terminology
– Understanding of animal physiology and behavior
– Being able to monitor daycare dogs and break up a fight if needed
– Ability to work in a kennel environment
– Strong passion for animal care and well-being
– Previous experience with animals is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
