We are seeking a Veterinary Doctor’s assistant (DA) to join our growing clinic. The ideal candidate is one who loves working as a team player in a fast-paced environment that is able to work independently . The individual seeking the position should have great interpersonal, written and oral communication. With the environment being fast paced we also seek individuals with great time management skills. We seek a technician looking at developing their career with possible leadership positions contingent on performance.
Job Responsibilities:
– General nursing care while assisting technicians
– Collect and Record patient case histories upon intake and in exam room
– Presenting and Reviewing estimates with pet owners
– Educate pet owners on home care
– Restrain animals for examination/treatment
– Perform In-House diagnostics and X-Rays
– Dispensing and Explaining Medications
– Administer Oral & Subcutaneous therapies
– Triage Urgent & Critical Care patients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hour
