Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Doctor. The Resident Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animal patients, performing medical and surgical procedures, providing emergency care, monitoring hospitalized patients, and educating pet owners on preventive healthcare. The successful candidate will work closely with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure excellent client satisfaction.
The Resident Veterinarian will also maintain accurate medical records, participate in clinical rounds, support the smooth running of hospital operations, and uphold the highest standards of veterinary practice and animal welfare.
Qualifications
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/B.Vet.Med.) from a recognized institution.
* Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
* Valid veterinary practicing license.
* Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
* Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Previous clinical experience is an added advantage.
