The Cat Doctor is a full service medical and surgical facility exclusively for cats. Established in 1983 in the Art Museum area, this hospital has served the Philadelphia community well for over thirty years, providing excellent comprehensive and compassionate care.
We are looking for a mature professional to work in our a veterinary hospital. The individual applying for this full-time position should have excellent customer service skills, outstanding communication skills, be organized and detailed oriented. We are looking for a team player who is also a problem solver and multi-tasker. The ideal candidate would be compassionate, a quick learner and self-motivated. We are a busy hospital with a high volume of clients, therefore we require a person who has the ability to remain calm, confident and focused in difficult situations and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner. Basic computer skills along with prior receptionist and/ or customer service experience is a must with prior veterinary experience preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, checking patients in and out of the hospital, handling client invoices, handling payments, answering multiple phone lines, client education, relaying communications between doctors and clients, scheduling appointments for exams and various procedures. We are looking for a candidate with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
