Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support related to animal care and veterinary services. Your knowledge of animal handling and care will be essential in assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
Duties
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding veterinary services and animal care.
Provide information on services offered, including laboratory tests, critical care options, and general animal health.
Assist clients with scheduling appointments and follow-up consultations.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
Utilize knowledge of animal anatomy and handling techniques to address client concerns effectively.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to relay important information regarding patient care.
Educate clients on proper animal restraint techniques and dog training methods as needed.
Ensure a clean and welcoming environment for both clients and their pets.
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a veterinary or animal care setting.
Strong knowledge of animal care practices, including but not limited to dog handling, equine care, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and compassionately.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing customer records.
A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
