Summit Veterinary Referral Center, located in gorgeous Tacoma, Washington, is looking for a fourth Criticalist to join our highly collaborative team. If you enjoy managing cases with input during daily Grand Rounds from other specialists including Anesthesiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology, Cardiology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Nutrition, and Neurology, look no further. Our on-site Radiologists provide same-day advanced imaging, and we all work together to provide the best possible care for each patient.
We also have an in-house blood bank. We are one of the largest tertiary care facilities in the area!

Our fully equipped hospital has 7 surgical suites, CT/MRI, endoscopy, telemetry, digital radiography, echocardiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and more. With certified LVTs (including VTS ECC) and a strong in-house veterinary assistant program, we have the support you need to manage complex critical cases, including those on mechanical ventilation.
