About the Role
Creek & Meadow Veterinary Hospital is a growing large and small animal practice located on over 40 acres in Gretna, Virginia. We are committed to exceptional patient care, outstanding client service, and supporting our veterinary team so they can deliver the highest standard of medicine. Creek & Meadow Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinic Manager / HR Manager to oversee daily operations, support our team, and ensure smooth workflow throughout the hospital. This position allows the owner/veterinarian to focus on patient care while you help manage the team, facility, scheduling, and HR duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a positive, team-oriented environment with clear expectations.
- Supervise all practice team members, including veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and receptionists.
- Hold employees accountable for performance, professionalism, and productivity.
- Manage scheduling, hiring, onboarding, training, and HR compliance.
- Oversee client service, workflow, and facility maintenance.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement monthly or quarterly clinic promotions.
- Lead community outreach to grow the client base and better connect with underserved areas.
- Develop and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and team standards that continue to improve daily operations.
- Assist with budgeting, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Work closely with the practice owner to complete important administrative tasks and lead projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary clinic or medical office management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable supervising staff and addressing performance issues when needed.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism.
- Self-driven, dependable, and skilled at improving workflow and structure.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Competitive pay based on experience

Pay: $52,000.00 – $62,500.00 per year
