Veterinary Client Service Representative/Veterinary Reception Technician Assistant

We are looking for a client-oriented service representative. We currently have two locations Johnstown, PA and Ebensburg, PA. A client service representative, or CSR, will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our client accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help clients. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. Client service representatives can put themselves in their clients’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Client feedback is priceless, and these CSRs can gather that for you. Problem-solving comes naturally to client service representatives. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve client concerns. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to client inquiries and maintain high client satisfaction. We are looking for an honest team player who must love working with people and pets. MUST HAVE previous veterinary/medical office experience. If this describes you, please apply.

Responsibilities

Manage large amounts of incoming calls

Identify and assess clients’ needs to achieve satisfaction

Build sustainable relationships and trust with client accounts through open and interactive communication

Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

Handle client concerns, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution

Keep records of client interactions, process client accounts and file documents

Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Take the extra mile to engage clients

Scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.

Skills

Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening

Familiarity with computers

Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

High school degree’
