Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and highly organized Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you will play an essential role in creating a positive experience while helping pets receive the care they need. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for both animals and customer service.
What You’ll Do
This is a full time on-site role as a Doctor Assistant at VetNow Animal Urgent Care in Studio City, CA.
- Full time – rotating 3×10 and 4×10 hour shifts
- Welcome clients and patients, assist with check-in, and ensure all required information and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions, hospital information, and other general inquiries.
- Provide compassionate and professional support to clients during stressful, urgent, and emotionally difficult situations.
- Collect deposits and payments and assist clients with billing questions.
- Maintain accurate client, patient, and financial information using EzyVet and other hospital software.
- Document client communications and other relevant information in patient medical records.
- Assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and keeping clients informed throughout their visit.
- Address client concerns with professionalism and tact and escalate issues to management or the medical team when appropriate.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and professional front-desk and hospital environment.
- Assist with additional administrative and operational responsibilities as needed to support the hospital and team.

Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Previous experience as a veterinary Client Service Representative is preferred.
- Veterinary, medical, or other fast-paced customer service experience is a plus.
- Experience with EzyVet or other veterinary practice management software is preferred.
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements & Working Environment
This position requires the ability to remain active for extended periods, work at a computer and answer phones throughout the shift, and occasionally assist with patient-related tasks. Employees should be comfortable working in a busy veterinary environment with barking dogs, medical equipment, and animals that may be stressed or fearful.

Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
