We offer traditional and holistic medicine such as acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments to a range of species who are mainly dogs and cats but include small mammals like rabbits and guinea pigs.

Job Overview

We are looking for a full time receptionist and social media manager who will work as a client/public relations representative to join our team of pet health advocates and help us care for our beloved community. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a basic foundation in veterinary medicine, client relations experience, a background in social media management, time management with an ability to work in a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative to guarantee our patients and clients are cared for.

Responsibilities can include:

Greeting/assisting clients in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.

Schedule and efficiently manage the appointment book

Maintain accurate records of patient information and appointments.

Utilize veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with clients and staff.

Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming to clients and their pets.

Client outreach such as :

-Posting on our social media pages 3-4 times a week+

-Making eye catching templates to post

-Sending out client referral “Thank You” letters

-Looking for and preparing for local events to keep the practice involved with the community

Updating clinic website

Managing our google profile which includes:

-Replying to reviews

– Weekly updates

Promoting the clinic such as:

– Managing social media

– Our Clinic app

– T-shirts and any other clinic promotions

Manage our app features and incoming communications from clients

Handling pet insurance submissions for pets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 37 per week
