Ideal candidate skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally in primary or urgent/emergency care
General knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
Ability to take and record vital signs
Experience administering medications and injections
Proficiency in performing laboratory procedures
Familiarity with medical equipment and instruments
Ability to monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries and medical procedures
Strong communication skills to communicate with colleagues and clients
Good bedside manner and compassion for animals
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of basic animal care and husbandry
Experience with electronic medical records and office software
Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and humanely
Knowledge of common animal diseases and treatments
Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.

Salaried position ($38,000 – $48,000/yr)
