We are looking for a self motivated individual willing to grow and learn with us! Job Expectations: â—¦ Obtain patient history from clients at check in â—¦ Assist veterinarians with appointments and in surgery in an appropriate capacity â—¦ Educate and communicate efficiently with clients about their pets â—¦ Dispense and administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian â—¦ Collect and prepare samples for diagnostic testing in-house and being sent to the lab â—¦ Care for hospitalized patients â—¦ Demonstrate proper technique for handling and restraining animals safely â—¦ Be able to learn and use our computer software Job Type: Full time/Part time Pay: $13-17 hourly Expected Hours: 35-40 hours Experience: Veterinary Technician/Assistant 1 year preferred
