What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Veterinary Assistant, your role is essential to the smooth operation of our clinic. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
Handling, restraining, and comforting patients with care and confidence
Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Administering medications (oral/topical/injectable under supervision)
Performing basic lab work (fecals, urinalysis, blood draws)
Monitoring hospitalized patients and reporting any concerns
Client communication and education with kindness and clarity
Maintaining patient records and assisting with data entry
Cleaning, stocking, and restocking supplies
Supporting surgery prep and recovery (sterilization, monitoring, etc.)
Obtaining a thorough intake history on patients for annual/illness appointments

Experienced: 1+ years in a veterinary clinic setting required
