Established in 2017, Viva Pet Care is an outpatient dog & cat veterinary clinic located in the Montavilla neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We are currently looking for an experienced veterinary assistant or vet tech to join our awesome, patient-focused, hard-working team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant or technician at a small animal hospital and should be able to demonstrate proficiency in patient restraint, phlebotomy, record keeping, and client communication & education. A pleasant and outgoing personality is a must. Phone duties are shared among the technical staff -i.e, everyone is cross-trained.

Business hours are: Monday through Thursday 12pm – 6pm and Friday 12pm – 5pm
These hours may be subject to change in the future, but there will never be any emergency, on-call or weekend duties.
Hourly wage will be based on your skill set and experience.
