Duties
Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain cleanliness in animal living areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
Assist with veterinary procedures as needed, including animal restraint and handling.
Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets’ well-being and address any questions or concerns.
Support grooming activities as required, ensuring pets are well-groomed and comfortable.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both animals and clients.
Qualifications
Previous experience in animal care or related fields such as veterinary assistance or pet grooming is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
Knowledge of animal handling techniques and safety protocols.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of caring for animals throughout the day.
