Job Description: As a Veterinary Assistant/Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinarians and providing high-quality care to our patients. You will be responsible for assisting in medical procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring the comfort and safety of animals in our care, including those staying in our kennels. Your responsibilities will also include helping with kennel management, providing basic treatments, and assisting with client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures.
Monitor patients pre- and post-operation.
Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Maintain accurate medical records for patients.
Support kennel care, including feeding, cleaning, and walking pets.
Provide a high level of customer service and clear communication to pet owners.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in our care.
Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
Requirements:
Experience working as a veterinary technician or in an animal care setting preferred.
Compassionate, responsible, and reliable.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including some Saturdays.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Team player with a passion for animal care.
