**MUST BE ABLE TO WORK BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:30AM – 6PM MON – FRI. MUST BE WILLING TO CROSS TRAIN TO WORK IN RECEPTION**
Ideal Pet Care continues to grow to meet the growing needs of our community. We are a privately owned, full service, daytime, general practice in Richlands, NC. We are looking for a motivated individual that shares a love for helping animals and their people. As a member of our team you will be responsible for helping provide the best possible care to each of our patients with a positive attitude and heart for client education. Your duties may include but are not limited to:
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling money, discussing treatment/product costs and payment for services, prescription medication fulfillment with attention to detail, animal restraint, collecting and processing laboratory samples (including drawing blood and collection fecal and urine samples), assisting with patient in-hospital treatments (including subcutaneous and intramuscular injections and IV catheter placement), anesthesia monitoring intra-op and post-op recovery, dental cleanings, general house-keeping and kennel cleaning and hospital upkeep, and assisting the veterinarian in the treatment and examination of canine and feline patients.
– Experience working in a veterinary practice is required.
– Potential for on-site childcare for the right person.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
