We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team in Gray!

Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Providing general nursing care for companion animals.
Taking patient history in preparation for the Veterinarian.
Taking X-rays.
Administering first aid for emergencies.
Administering medication and treatments.
Drawing blood samples for testing.
Placing IV catheters.
Monitoring animals under anesthesia.
Assisting Veterinarians with diagnostic procedures.
Coordinating the care of animals with other team members.
Tracking animal recovery as needed.
Maintaining cleanliness of the hospital following cleaning matrix chart.
Qualifications:
Passion for working with animals.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team.
Attention to detail.
Prior experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
Salary: Based on experience
