The receptionists, assistants, and technicians play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the veterinarians. We are dedicated to quality care and service and are looking for our team to grow. We are immediately hiring an assistant/technician. Full-time position available.
Assistant/Technician
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED (required)
· Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or 2+ years experience in veterinary medicine
Duties:
· Obtain patient history prior to veterinarian’s exam
· General technical tasks (i.e., nail trims, ear flushing, anal gland expression, proper animal restraint, etc.)
· Maintain medical records on a computer
· Invoice services
· Assist in maintaining clinic cleanliness
Requirements:
· Strong customer service skills
· Technical competence for learning new computer software/functions
· Ability to maintain composure and professionalism while working in a busy environment
· Ability to work within a large team dynamic
· Ability to withstand physical demands of continuous movement of standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 pounds)

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
