Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and organized team member to join our new, busy veterinary clinic. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to learn and must be able to prep patients for surgery and minor procedures, assist in surgery, restrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring manner, obtain accurate vitals, obtain medical histories, and/or note any changes of patient’s condition, collect and prepare laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologies, care for and maintain all medical equipment including laboratory machines, surgical packs, anesthesia machines, and any other tools that are essential to daily operations. Applicants who can place a catheter and intubate will be moved to the top of the list. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for animal care, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Experience
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment is required.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members, are essential.
