Position Summary: We are seeking a veterinary technician with a strong background in venipuncture techniques. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in blood sample collection, catheter placement, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures. Your expertise will play a vital role in diagnostics and treatment, contributing to the overall success of our team in delivering outstanding patient care.
– Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
– Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
– Take X-rays
– Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
– Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery
– Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
– Maintain accurate medical records
