Cottage Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire a receptionists/assistants or veterinary technicians. Salary is based on experience and skill set. Job requires excellent customer service and attention to detail. Receptionist/assistant duties include answer phones, attending to customer needs, cleaning, filling medications, holding animals for doctors. This is a customer service job dealing with people. Technician duties involve blood work, surgical/dental prep, sick patient care, etc. Training in additional duties and advancement within the practice is available for those interested. Applicant must be able to lift 35lbs and can expect to go up and down stairs repeatedly during the day. Job is rewarding but can be stressful. Schedule must be flexible, and you must stay off your cell phone.
