Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Schedule appointments and efficiently manage the clinic’s calendar.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Process payments and assist with billing inquiries.
- Support veterinary staff by handling and restraining animals during examinations.
- Educate clients on pet care, vaccination schedules, and preventive health measures.
- Keep the front desk area clean and organized while following aseptic techniques.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, basic animal handling, and proper restraint methods.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and clinic protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to safely and compassionately handle dogs, cats, and other pets.
- Experience in front desk operations or customer service is a plus.
- A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
